What Learn-with-Me Offers
Learn-with-Me is a parent-led secular co-op that meets in Mount Airy, Maryland.
Parents/guardians are present and active on campus at all times and serve in various roles throughout the academic year. These roles include, but are no restricted to, lead teacher, group guide, teaching assistant, activity coordinator, cleaning assistant, and nursery lead.
Rotating groups move through both special activities and themed activities for the month. All curriculum is written and provided by the directors and adjusted by the leads to meet their style.
All participating parents/guardians are required to lead class for at least two or three months (depends on enrollment). Preferences for topics and months are discuss upon enrollment.
Learn-with-Me is currently serving the following student groups:
- Nursery (Under 2yo)*
- Toddler Group (2yo and 3yo)*
- Pre-K Group (4yo - 5yo)*
- Active Homeschoolers (K - 5th grade)
*Nursery, Toddler and Pre-K aged children will only be accepted if an actively homeschooling older sibling is enrolled. If your child is not actively homeschooling, then they will be placed on a waitlist until space can be confirmed.
The Learn-with-Me Academic Year runs from the Monday after Labor Day through the Monday before Memorial Day with breaks around Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter.
Enrollment
Enrollment space is determined in the spring for the next academic year, shadow days are required for enrollment.
Expected Costs:
- $25 enrollment fee due upon submission of enrollment form (non-refundable).
- $30 Materials Fee per participating child (non-refundable)
- Annual one-time tuition payment per participating child based on program of enrollment (Nursery, Toddler, Rotating Group)
All fees and tuition are based on venue rental, insurance, and consumable resources required for operation.
We do our best to provide all necessary resources for lessons. Reimbursement for resources can be submitted for approval prior to scheduled lessons.
